If you’re playing snare drum, a tie is quite simple. All you do is treat the second note as a rest.
If you have a quarter note tied to a quarter note, play it like a quarter note followed by a quarter rest.
Functionally, this isn’t technically correct, but it’s how you play in on snare drum.
If you’re playing a roll, you just keep on going through the tied note. If you have a quarter note roll tied to a quarter note roll, you will play it like a half note roll, as in, you’ll play a roll straight for two beats.
Hope this helps!

If you don’t know what it is, you shouldn’t be plying drums cause you probably suck.
